No More sleeps!!

Bonjour,
Well, I am jetsetting off today for sunny Hawaii!!! I am so excited and I just can't hide it!!! Things didn't go quite to plan though this morning when I woke up with an ear infection!!!!! Woah, never had one of those before and it really hurts. Had to have a quick trip to the doctor and a bag full of medicine and a lolly pop later I think I am now ready to go!!!! My Mummy and daddy were so clever to take me to the doctor straight away because it is not as bad as it could have been if we hadn't got the special medicine straight away!!!
So I will be all better to see my Memere and Pepere, Justin, Ginette and John. I just can't wait. I even have a special present for Justin, I hope he likes it.
So, have I told you how excited I am!!!!!!!!
Will be back in a couple of weeks to tell you all about it.

Hawaii.....15 sleeps to go!!

Bonjour,
Just thought I would let you all know that in 15 sleeps Mummy,Daddy and I will be in Hawaii. I can't wait and I am so excited. I am going to see Memere, Pepere, Matante Ginette, Mononcle John, and Cousin Justin. We go on the big plane and we get to stay with Jill, Paul, Ty, Jayd and Keira on the way in Sydney. We have one little sleep in Sydney then back on the plane to Hawaii.
It's going to be great fun and I have been practising my "hula dancing in my grass skirt"!!!

Helping Daddy

Bonjour,
It's been a while since I have been here filling you in on what I have been up to. Let's just say I have been very very busy!! Daddy was home for a while and I had so much fun helping him in the garden especially mowing the lawn. We went to the beach every day he was home and I am now swimming out very very deep and in the big waves as well!!
I still like going to my 3 years old school, it is so much fun and I have a new best friend called Jordan. She is my favourite because one day she wore a beautiful necklaceone day and she let me look at it. I like doing painting and listening to story time at school the best.
Daddy is away now on the big ship so it is just Mummy and I at home, oh yeah, and Sasha!! Mummy says only 7 more sleeps and he will be back...yay, can't wait!

My new house!!

Bonjour,
Mum and dad bought a new TV. I really like it but the best thing about the new TVis the big huge box it came in. The box has become my new home. I painted and decorated it myself and have literally spent the last few days living in the box. Of course I dont see it as just a box, to me it is my new home!!! One day I turned it into a school and put all my toys in there and read them all stories. Daddy even made a window and a door for me. If someone needs to visit me they have to knock on the door first. Tonight I am going to ask mum if can sleep in there........

I went camping!!

Bonjour,
Last Friday I went camping with daddy , Mummy and our friend Dan. We went to Moore River. I had never been there before and it wasn't too far away from our house....(only an hour north, mummy said!) There was a river and an ocean there. I liked swimming in the river more than the ocean because the waves in the ocean were SOOOOO big. Bigger than our house, (OK, maybe not that big!) When we got there Daddy and Dan put up the tent, then I went in and played for a little while and read some stories to my baby. Then Mummy and I walked to the beach but that's when we discovered the huge huge waves, so we went to the river and also went back to the campground , first stopping at the playground. I loved it.

It was so much fun. At night time it was fun reading more stories in the tent and then in the morning lots and lots of funny crows were making very funny sounds. I thought it was so funny and I kept asking Mummy if she could hear it as well but Mummy just kept telling me to go back to sleep because it was very very early. In the end Mummy and I got up and went for a walk to the river and to the playground....(even though Mummy said it was only 5.30am in the morning!!!) No wonder I slept all the way home in the car!!!!!

Buzy Kidz

Bonjour,
I had a great time at "Buzy Kidz". It was so much fun. At first I was a little nervous because we were there early and we had to line up outside the doors and there were lots of kids and Mummies (and a few daddies). Then the doors opened and we all went inside. One of my teachers straight away asked me my name and I said (quite loudly) "My name is Sophie"!!! (Mummy was slightly shocked by this as I am normally very very shy to strangers....and sometimes even shy to people I know!!) My teacher said, "You are our only Sophie, there are no other little girls here today called Sophie". Wow, I gave her a huge smile because then I felt special! She said there were 3 Jordans and I said, I know one Jordan too!!!! After that I handed over my fruit and my cheese and vegemite sandwich wrapped nicely in a brown paper bag and in my special new lunchbox because my teacher was going to give it back at lunchtime.

Then Mummy gave me a kiss and a cuddle and I was left to play with everything. A teacher called Helen came over to show me all the playdough things, then I went and played in a cubby house, then played with the dolls. Then we had to all sit on a mat and the teacher said she was very happy to see us all and that "Buzy Kidz" is all about having lots of fun!!! Wow, I thought, I sure am going to love it here!! We did singing, then painting and I made a butterfly, then we played outside in the sandpit.

Before I knew it, it was lunchtime, then storytime and then Mummy came back to get me. I did have a very good time but I told Mummy that I did feel a little bit sad for her when I thought about her and that I wished she could come to Buzy Kidz too........(but that was just to make her feel OK and not be sad that I didn't really think of her much!!!!).

So, yes, I will be happy to go back next week. Maybe soon I will know the names of the friends I have made because right now I don't know their names .........but I know none of them are called Sophie.......only ME.
