I interviewed Sophie this week, it was quite funny listening to her responses! For almost every question she would first answer with..."ooh, thats a hard one"...then I would write down whatever she said after that. When I asked her, "who was the coolest person on Earth" she straight away said...Mummy!!! I said, how come you didn't say..."ooh that's a hard one" and she said, because that one was easy!!! I liked that a lot :-)

Room Service....
My friend Ella had a sleep over last Friday night and in the morning we made cubbies in the garage, we were so busy playing that we forgot we hadn't eaten breakfast. WE asked Mummy if we could eat breakfast in our "garage cubby" and she made us the best breaky ever....she even put a flower on our tray and some chocolate hearts. Ella ordered bacon and eggs and Luc and I had cheerios and toast and bacon...it was so much fun. We especially liked our strawberry garnish on our juice as well!!! I told Mummy it was cool, just like as if it were "Kids day", you know like Mothers Day when you get breakfast in bed!!! Then I remembered that Mummy doesn't actually get breakfast in bed even on Mothers Day and Mummy also pointed out that it is more like "Kids day" everyday.
When we finished we packed up the tray and rang a bell for Mummy to collect it......she said her shift was over and the kitchen is now closed and we had to clean up ourselves and do the dishes!!!

cubby house at Rottnest....
When we were at Rottnest for our holiday, Luc and I became friendly with 2 girls that were staying across from us. We had peeked through the curtains and watched them playing from afar for about 4 days (we are a little shy) before they finally came over to see if we wanted to play with them. Actually they came to borrow a ball....but anyway THEN they asked us to play. They were so much fun, Ruby was 9 years old (almost 10) and Poppy was 12 and very handy for me, their Daddy was a Doctor...in fact he was Dr Phil and I stubbed my toe badly and he fixed it all up....very professional like!!! (he even soaked it in antiseptic first....!)
Luc and I just loved playing with Ruby and Poppy and they also had 3 boys come to vist them and play as well...hmm, they were ok, kind of annoying, a bit like Luc sometimes....
Their daddy said they could make a cubby in the trees outside using the blankets. It was was so much fun...we called it "Candy Club House" and when we were allowed to go to the General Store we would buy lollies and go back and share them in our Candy Club House. Boys riding by on bikes kept coming to talk to Poppy, they were annoying, I dont know why they kept coming over to ask her name about 20 times......Even daddy was interested in them, kept asking what they want and what are they doing and staring at them....Poppy kept telling them her name was "Michael Jackson" and we would all laugh.....I laughed cos they laughed and so did Luc, even though its not really THAT funny! One night we played in our cubby till 9.30pm before we had to go to bed BUT guess what, Poppy and Ruby were allowed to sleep in there all night!!!! Wow, they are soooo brave. I would be worried about quokkas nibbling on my toes!
They slept in there for 2 nights....so brave..
It was fun making new friends on holiday and since we have been home we email each other.....

2011 - First day of school
Well, it's that time of the year again...back to school time!! This year I am going to be in Year 3 and Luc is going to start Kindergarten. He is so lucky he only goes 2 days a week...I go 5 whole days! This year my teacher is called Mrs O'Reilly and last year when I heard the kids call her ..."Mrs OReilly Never Smiley"!!!! Mummy said I must of heard wrong and they were calling her "Mrs O'Reilly Always Smiley"!!!!
Luc sure was excited about his first day of Kindy.
Mummy said when she picked Luc up she asked him if he had made any new friends..... he said...."First of all, you can't MAKE friends, it's not like how you make dinner, you just GET friends and I
did get some new friends...blue t shirt boy, yellow hair boy, red shirt boy and the boy with the Ben Ten drink bottle I like to!!! I thought it so funny that he didnt know any of their names...until Mummy reminded me I did a similar thing on my first day of kindy!!!!
