8 years old today

"do I really need to go to school today"?

So here I am at 8 years old, Mummy came to school to be "parent helper"for the morning.  My teacher wasn't there as she was sick so we had another teacher.  Mummy thought she sounds like "Mrs Doubtfire", you know that movie!!!  Anyhow, she made us get up and tell the class what we want to be when I grow up and I said........"I want to be  a famous netballer"!!  This will probably change about 100 times in the next few years, so don't hold me to it...ok!

I had a great day and a small family party at our house with pizza and cake.  I was pretty tired as I had been awake since 4.45am.......quite excited to be 8!

On Saturday we played mini golf and Daddy, Mummy and I all got holes in one.  Not Luc, he got a hole in about 18.  Daddy said we are not going to be enrolling him in the "Tiger Woods school of golf" anytime soon!

Big catch up......

Well it's been a big few months in the world of Sophie and Luc, apologies if you were thinking that aliens had come down and abducted us and taken us back to their world....(you know you were thinking it!!)  We have been very, very busy and important, places to be, things to see......so here is it is in words and pictures what we have been doing......

Luc found a new "love".  The little drummer boy has quite the talent...oh dear, not sure we are ready for  a drummer in the family!!

Lots and lots of baby Kai gazing and lots and lots of arguments on who gets to hold him next.  Kai is the very BEST sleeping baby ever.....and so gorgeous!

Sophie got her ears pierced and talked of nothing else for at least  3 days...."how do I sleep with ear rings"???  "How do I get dressed"??  "Can I still do cart wheels and hand stands"?  Some of the funny things that came out of her mouth......I guess getting ears pierces is that "life changing" in her eyes (well in her ears at least!!!)

Looking grown up....

Nanny took Sophie to the ballet to see "Sleeping Beauty"...3 hours of lovely dancing and enjoyed by them both!

Daddy had a birthday and turned 44 years young.....We made him a cake!

Welcome to the world cousin Kai James....

Baby Kai has arrived and as you can see he is so so so so gorgeous!!!!  WE all love him and I want to cuddle him whenever I see him but I have to compete with so many others to get my hands on him.  Lucky for me I am the oldest cousin at almost 8 yrs old so am considered the most responsible cousin of course!!!

Here he is with big sister Sari and Jack. They are so lucky to have a new baby in their house.  I wish we could have one as well so I am going to ask Santa again this Christmas, although Mummy did say there are some things Santa just won't do!!!

Sports Day

We had our school sports day a couple of weeks ago. Yes I know bit slow on updating (again:-()) I am in Blue faction adn we came second...yay!! Above I am in the "tunnel ball" race...I am the first one in the line...we won this race! Below was the "tug o war", I am second in the line.......it was funny but we lost that game. I cam 3rd in my running race, there are no photos of that as Mumm's camera ran out of batteries...(duh)!

Book Week

Book week is great fun at school. On Friday we get to dress up as a character from a book we like. At first I was going to dress up as "The Magic Faraway Tree" but that costume became abit complicated. Then I was going to be "Rapunzel" but then Mummy said that "Pipi Longstocking" could be a good idea. So thats who I went as...Pipi Longstocking!!



My friend Indiana went as a lizard from the book, "The Magic school bus"...she won the prize for best dressed.
I had crazy coloured stripey tights on but you will have to imagine what that looks like because Mum didnt capture my legs in these photos!!.

HELLO AGAIN.....

Hi folks...sorry about missing in action!! We've been busy people. Busy doing what I can't recall, but just busy...ok!
We got haircuts.....spot the difference. Luc's is much shorter and Sophie has a fringe. They look older if you ask me. Luc in particular looks more like a "big boy" everyday and with that comes "big Boy attitude"!!!!
