Beautiful Bali....

We are back from a great time in Bali.  We all loved it.  It was very warm but not too hot.  We could go swimming everyday.  The hotel had  a huge waterslide.  We had the best room in the whole hotel.  We went with lots of friends so there was always someone to play with.  I loved having my hair braided and my nails done.

OK, maybe not so happy here.....it was taking soooooooooooooooo long and I wanted to get in the pool!!

the little gymnast.....

 Sophie had her very first gymnastics competition last Sunday morning. She did very well and loved every minute of it . Since joing the "High Flyers""squad team in march....one could say "gymnastics" is her new found love! Last week she trained for 9 hours not to mention the time she spent upside down at home!!! Usually she trains 4 hours a week but as the comp was approaching she fit in some extra sessions.

At the end in the presentations Sophie received a silver medal and a 3 rd place and 2 second place ribbons!! She did so well and we are really proud of her :-)

Sophie's first rock concert......

Last Saturday mum and dad took me to my first concert. I got to see Miley Cyrus in real life!!! It was so much fun. My friends Indy,Neve, Cameran and Alex and their mums and dads came too. We screamed so much my voice has still not come back yet!!!
Miley is so cool. I love her. I loved her outfits!! Although I did tell Mum she did need some more clothes on and that you can only wear those outfits if you are a rockstar!! When Miley is not doing concerts she likes to wear layers.....I think she is pretty. Indy and Neve made sighs for Miley....I dont think she could see them though! I got a little bit tired but mostly I had lots of fun. We even went out for dinner first and had sushi...my favourite!!! Luc didn't go, he had a sleep over at Nanny's house. Lucky he wasn't there as he would of complained...it's too loud and stuck his fingers in his ears and probably been a pain!!!

Our Little Gymnast!

Lately Sophie spends more time upside down than upright! The girl has become gymastics "obsessed"!! Recently at her gymnastics club she was asked by the coaches to join their "Squad Team" and enter competitions as well as train for 4 hours a week at the club.
At home she is constantly cartwheeling or handstanding or bendbacking, usually accompanied with a "watch me", "look at this", "can you score me".......she is getting very, very good.

Last week after school we stopped at the supermarket to get a few things and she is pacing the aisles as I shopped and saying..."can we please hurry, I need to go upside down, I haven't done a cart wheel ALL day!!

Her first gymastics competition is on Saturday July 2nd and she is so excited. Normally not competitive at all and usually quite shy gymnastics is giving her lots of new confidence as well.
