Well after 77 days of sunshine and heat the drought has broken!!! Ok everyone in Perth, stop praying for rain and doing your rain dances.....Yesterday was the biggest storm I have ever seen....even Mummy said it was the biggest for her as it was the biggest storm Perth has had in 50 years....
Luc was very frightened when the "golf ball" size hail stones were crashing onto the roof and windows.....he had his hands over his ears, was crying and telling Mummy to make the rain stop!!! Huh Luc, der I said, ....she's not God you know buddy!!!! Mummy said we may need to build an Arc and gather 2 of every animal up.....(which made me think, for sure she is not God but maybe she thinks she is Noah!!!...as you can see my Catholic school is teaching me well) Luckily we were home and safe and not stuck in the car driving somewhere and Daddy was safe in Singapore...(he was the safest cos he was the furtherest away!!!) The power went out and even when it came back on our lights wouldn't work as water had got into some lights. Mummy again is very thankful for our neighbour who is an electrician and fixed it for us straight away and only costs us a bottle of Polish vodka which Mummy says is actually quite cheap and nasty but our neighbour is from Poland and he loves it!!!
Our car has some "dimple" marks on it now from the hail stones. I like dimples, they are cute....not on cars though, that's not that cute!
Look at the size of the hail.....storm from the front door....
This afternoon on the way home from gymnastics I asked Mummy what time the storm is coming on tonight ......
Mostly all about Sophie and Luc, a couple of kids growing up in sunny Western Australia with their Aussie mum, Canadian (Can-Aussie) dad and Sadie the wonder puppy. Capturing the ordinary and extraordinary moments in life!

Playing tourists.......
We had a fun day yesterday being "tourists", as Mummy liked to call us. We went exploring the city and climbed the "Bell Tower" and also had aride in the fairly new "Ferris Wheel". It was a little bit scary at first, it goes very high but it was good fun looking out the windows.
After that we went to Kings Park and had lunch....and then a play at teh playground.
