HAPPY NEW YEAR.......

today is the last day of 2010.....we are going to Balingup for the night about 3 hours south of Perth for a night with friends...
We hope you all have a safe and happy and healthy 2011.
(mummy told me thats what you have to say......I wanted to say, hope you have fun and more fun and even more fun all year and get spoilt and lots of presents even when its not your birthday and you get to eat your favourite things for dinner every night and you dont get asked to clean your room or empty the dishwasher (ok so Ive only done that 3 times but I can tell Í'm going to get asked to do it again over and over....) and you go on lots of holidays and if you havent got your ears pierced, do it, as that was one of my highlights of 2010......I could go on and on but I have to go and Mummy said "safe, happy and healthy" is more important......

hello Luc....

Mummy and I relaxing in the pool....this is the last photo taken on Xmas day at 6.30pm at night.
We had a great day, a swim in the beach and a beautiful lunch at Nanny and Grandpas (duh forgot to take the camera!!:-(
then a swim and play at Aunty Emily's and Uncle Carls place. Jack and I swam most of the time, Sari and Luc played with dolls and prams and played Mummies and Daddies....baby Kai was perfect as always and slept or just sat around being cute!!!!

and so that was christmas......

Wasn't too early this year....Luc woke first ast 6.30am, and we were so happy to see Santa had been.  Rudolph left a big mess on the back lawn...carrots everywhere and Santa left a note because he didn't get time to put up my new netball ring!!!!!   He said to ask Daddy to do it because he know's he is good at doing stuff like that!!!!   Mummy thinks that we shouldn't of left a beer out for Santa's drink because maybe he got sleepy and ran out of time!!!!!  Luc and I both got boogie boards and lots of little surprises, games, clothes, toys....so much fun to unwrap them all.

Diego toothbrush...Yay!!  He asked for a gun and sword but Santa didnt get them for him!!!  I think it's because he was probably on the naughty list most of the year but Mummy thinks it is because Luc asked for SO many things Santa couldn't get everything AND he really only asked for those things last minute and the elves need notice to make stuff you know....

I just love my baby cousin Kai and thinks he would make a pretty good "baby Jesus" in a Nativity play at this time of year as well.....

Merry Christmas to all. Special big hello's to our Great Matante's Della and Gisele, we are very happy you like to read about us. Wish we could see you sometime soon....maybe after February Gisele when you are going to be retired??? Thanks you for our beautiful Christmas cards and stickers, we love them. Be back real soon to let you know if Santa was brave enough to come to sunny and hot Perth again....we sure hope he does,

school christmas concert

Hello....do you like my hair.  It was crazy hair day at school!!

Here I am at my school concert. We sang a song about Jesus being born. I was in the front row and I am wearing a red dress with love hearts on it, my white leggings and a white cardigan. It took me hours to think about and finalise this outfit complete with silver sparkly shoes and I pondered for days on how I was to wear my hair!! Yes I even lost sleep over it. I admit it is not the first time I have been standing next to my mum's bed at 3am and soon as her eyes spring open (I'm not sure my mum actually sleeps , it's like she just lies there with her eyes closed) anyhow, soon as she opens them I tell her how I want to wear my hair the next day or sometimes I ask her if she has washed my favourite shorts!!!! Then I go back to bed. Mummy is not always appreciative of this...I like to be organised!!

The concert was great. We did it on the school oval and all the families had a picnic dinner beforehand. In the picture above you can see Luc and my cousin Sari, they apparantly kept everyone entertained around them by singing along and doing the actions as were happening on the stage. Yes, once again they make it all about them and less about me and my perfectly put together outfit!!!

Gingerbread houses.........

Well we think Luc is not destined for a career in construction!!!  The gingerbread making did not go exactly as planned and well, definately did not look anything like the one on the box!!!
